We believe there is only one God, existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  These three are co-equal and co-eternal, each with distinct personalities.

    (I John 5:7)

We believe the Bible to be verbally inspired by God and that it is truth without any mixture of error, and that it is the foundation and final authority of faith, practice, and all academic disciplines.

    (II Timothy 3:16-17)

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, Who was born of a virgin and lived among men without sin, as perfect man and perfect God.

    (Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:26-35; John 1:14)

We believe in the reality of Satan and that a place of eternal, conscious punishment is prepared for him, his host and all unbelievers.

    (Psalm 9:17; Matthew 25:41; II Peter 2:4; Revelation 20:10,14,15)

We believe that the Bible sets forth principles of living that must be followed in order to avoid and refute the false concepts of our day.

    (Joshua 1:8, Psalm 1:1-3; I Timothy 4:15)

We believe the Holy Spirit convicts of sin and performs the supernatural.  At salvation, He indwells us and continues to bring us to spiritual maturity as we obey the Word of God.

    (John 14:16-17; 16:7-14; Romans 8:9,16)

We believe that we have the power to be victorious over sin by entering into the victory that Christ has provided through His death and resurrection.

    (Romans 6; I Corinthians 15:54-58)

We believe that Adam was directly created in innocence and in the image of God and did not evolve from pre-existing life forms.  By voluntary transgression he fell; and thus, the whole human race is now sinful by nature and by practice; therefore, is under just condemnation to eternal separation from God.

    (Genesis 1:26-27; 8:21; Romans 5:14; Ephesians 2:3; I Corinthians 15:22, 45-48)

We believe that we were created in three equal parts:  spirit, soul, and body.  When we become a Christian, God’s spirit indwells our spirit, desires to fill our soul, mind and emotion and seeks to direct our physical members.

    (I John 3:24; John 6:63, 7:39; Romans 8:9-14)

We believe that we are justified by grace through faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, and that it is impossible to gain favor by good works.

    (Titus 3:5; Galatians 2:16-20)

We believe that baptism is an act of obedience and is a testimony of our confession of salvation.

    (Acts 2:41; Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:12)

We believe the Lord’s supper symbolizes the broken body and the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ and our participation should be preceded by a careful time of self-examination based on the principles of God’s Word.

    (Luke 22:14-20; I Corinthians 11:23-24)

We believe that we have direct access to God through Jesus Christ and need no other mediator.

    (I Timothy 2:5; Revelation 1:5-6)

We believe that we are commanded to abstain from all forms of compromise with worldly practices, as well as all appearances of evil.

    (Romans 12:2; 13:14; I Thessalonians 5:22)

We believe money is a trust from God and must be managed according to scriptural principles.

(Deuteronomy 8:11, 17-18; Luke 16:10-12; I Corinthians 4:2)

We believe that Jesus Christ shed His blood on Calvary as a vicarious sacrifice for sinners and that He was buried and rose again bodily and ascended to the right hand of the Father, from whence He will personally return.

(John 3:16; 16:22, 28; Ephesians 1:20-23; Mark 16:19; Romans 4:24-25; I Thessalonians 4:16-17)

We believe that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

(II Corinthians 5:6-9)

We believe in the resurrection of the saved unto eternal life and the lost to eternal damnation.

(John 5:28-29; Revelation 20:15)

We believe that we are engaged in a continuous warfare with Satan and his host, therefore our life must reflect the personal disciplines of a soldier, pilgrim, and stranger.

(II Corinthians 10:4; Ephesians 6:10-17; I Timothy 1:18-19; I Peter 2:11)

Give heed to thyself and to thy doctrine.”

(I Timothy 4:16)
