Anita, 1st born

You can often hear Anita before you see her...whether it's the click of her camera, the hum of the sewing machine or the click of the mouse as she designs interesting things on the computer. She always desires to know God's perfect will in all things, and is a seeker of truth. Her sisters are her best friends.

Joshua, 2nd born

Joshua and Heather are happily married and live about twenty minutes away from us. We enjoy frequent visits with them. Josh works as a plumber, while Heather enjoys giving music lessons each week.

Luke, 3rd born

Luke always reminds us that no matter the day, there's room for a good laugh or a grin! Born with just half of his brain developed, he has struggles with things you and I don't think about, but what a trophy he is of God's grace. He is very friendly...always willing to shake hands or give a big smile to whomever will take the time. We love our Luke!

Cilicia, 4th born 

Cilicia is fun loving and self giving. You can depend on Cilicia to be there when you need her. She plays the violin and enjoys singing old hymns we find in long lost books. She also has her own home business where she offers creative, beautiful glass bead jewelry, bookmarks and more. She loves the Lord and can often be found reading her Bible early in the morning. She is a special comrade to all her sisters.

Alexis, 5th born

Alexis is 19 minutes younger than her twin, Cilicia. She loves the Lord with a passion and is always ready to take things back to scripture. She crochets beautifully and loves history. She plays the violin and loves to sing with her sisters and family. In her own quiet way, she serves the whole family by cooking delicious cheese danish, helping the boys with daunting math problems and blessing us with her sweet voice.

Olivia, 6th born

Olivia is fun. She has a contagious laugh and tenacity for life that can't be outdone. She is Mom's, "Middle Matilda". She bakes wonderful whole wheat bread and grilled peanut butter& jelly sandwiches. She plays her oboe in our church orchestra and enjoys singing alto with her sisters and family when opportunity arises. With Olivia, everything is bright colors and fun shoes.

Benuel, 7th born

Ben is a quiet, laid back young man. He takes things in stride and is always wise with his bank account. He has spent many hours transcribing the book of John so that he could learn and meditate on the Word of God in a more effective way. He feels called to be a Pastor one day. He is learning to play the trumpet and is part of the media crew at church. He is a good example to all his brothers.

Treasure, 8th born

Treasure Elisabeth loves spending time with her brothers. She is a great motivator with their school and enjoys cooking, memorizing scripture and laughing with them. She is very quiet around people she doesn't know, but those that know her, know she has a very tender heart and is always ready to give a smile. She is Samuels favorite bedtime story teller. There is never a night that she doesn't tell her roommates [her sisters] she loves them. Her favorite color is yellow.

Paul, 9th born

Paul is a great student. He loves math, enjoys spelling and takes the time to memorize Scripture. He surprised us by memorizing and quoting the book of Obadiah. He is always ready to help Daddy around the house with different projects and help hold little Titus. He loves to sing and can hum many hard classical pieces on key...melodies from Handels Messiah, Trumpet Voluntary and so on...Who needs a trumpet player when Paul is around?!

Santiago, 10th born

"Santi" as we affectionately call him, is such a blessing. Santi, from seven weeks of life, has been through many surgeries to correct a severe form of scoliosis. Through his many medical challenges, he has remained sweet as ever and developed a true heart for the Lord. He is very tender and compassionate and has an incredible knack for remembering people's birthdays and making them feel loved.

Jon-Michael, 11th born

There is never a dull moment with Jon-Michael around. He is so full of energy! He sings with gusto, even when he doesn't know all the words, and loves to help Daddy work in the yard or the occasional concrete job. He is definitely a go-getter...He trusted Jesus as his Savior this year, and we are confident that he will be a mighty man for Him.

Peter, 12th born

"Sweet Pete" is quiet, but definitely a thinker. He loves to play outside and drive around with Samuel in his battery powered Gator truck. You just never know when some colorful drawing will be on your desk or bedroom door as his gift to you....of course, he uses lots of tape to post or seal these gifts!

Samuel, 13th born

There's no resisting a sweet smile from little Samuel! His vocabulary is beyond his years, he loves people and has a fascination with planes. He is a Daddy's boy all the way! There is no lack of hugs and kisses with this little guy.

Titus, 14th born

Titus is a little bundle of energy! Every day we see him as a miracle, and enjoy his sweet disposition...a definite joy to all!
